A to Z Expeditions has put in place a recruitment process, which benefits instructors, participants and clients. By going through this process all instructors have the opportunity to meet key head office staff and work out whether being part of our team is really for them. The process also allows us to meet everyone before they work for us and ensure they understand our policies and procedures.
Send your CV to email@example.com
Our Instructor Manager, Bethan, will review it and get back to you.
If you are successful you will be invited to attend an Instructor Open Day in the Brecon Beacons with Bethan and our Chief Instructor, Rob. The aim of the day is for us to get to know each other.
During the morning there will be an informal interview and you will be asked to deliver a session so that we can evaluate your instructor style. We will also tell you more about the company and how we work. The morning usually ends with coffee and cake!
By the end of the Instructor Open Day morning, you will have a better idea of what A to Z Expeditions is about and whether you’d still like to work for us. We will also have a better understanding of how you might fit into our freelance team. If you are successful, we will invite you to stay for the afternoon, when will give you a more formal induction.
Every year, A to Z Expeditions holds a number of Instructor Conferences in the Brecon Beacons during the quiet winter period. They last for a day and cover various aspects of training, policy updates, procedures etc. It’s also a chance for freelance instructors to get together and network.
You will be expected to attend one of these conferences. Zoe’s famous chocolate brownies are a regular feature at this event and there’s usually a social in the evening.
