28th October - Instructor get together in Pembroke

We have just finished another successful expedition season and to thank our instructors for all their hard work we planned a surfing trip to Pembroke.  Despite the grey weather we had a fantastic time. The surf was excellent, everyone was catching waves in no time and most of us even managed to stand up, even if it wasn't for long!

27th September - DofE Wales Adventure Race

The A to Z Expeditions team (Jo, Bob, Alison, John, Caroline and Jonathan) took part in this 2 day event to raise money for The Duke of Edinburgh's Award in Wales.  They were supported through out the event by David who provided food and transport.  The team ran, hiked, orienteered, mountain biked, sweated and threw-up (blame the Jelly Babies!).  Everyone had a great weekend, thanks to the Ian and the DofE team for organising such a fantastic event.  Congratulations to the team for their hard earned 4th place (they were the highest placed mixed team).

"The Silver expedition was brilliant and thank you for all you help" E Coppins, Perse School Silver

"Just a little message to say thank you to you all for helping to organise and run the recent Radley Gold Qualifying expedition. We are really pleased that the boys managed to successfully complete the venture and it is obvious talking to them that they thoroughly enjoyed the challenge. They have been singing your praises alot since their return so your ears will have been burning no doubt! I am particularly pleased that they seem to have put the knowledge and experience gained from their A to Z Expeditions June practice to good use to ensure success of the 'Real Thing', so thank you for your patience along the way!" J Wright, Radley College Gold

"They (the boys) seem to have had a good time, to have been well challenged and to have learned a lot! I was certainly very pleased with the way the trip went. It was great to be able to hand over to Tim and Martin who clearly knew what they were doing!" J Lawrence, Kings College School Gold Practice Expedition

"Many thanks. I would always be happy to give your company a glowing reference because I am so pleased we found you." M Sunter, Box Hill School

"Thanks for everything. Chris was great and the girls are very keen to go for gold! They were also very impressed with A to Z Expeditions!" J Colwell, City of London School for Girls Silver Expedition.

"Thank you for all your help/support with the Gold Expedition over the past week - it would not have been possible without it!"  Kate, Open Gold October 2008.
