If you couldn’t do your expedition with the rest of your group, or couldn’t get enough people to make a full expedition team then come along on one of our Open Expeditions. You will have the opportunity to get to know other participants and join up into teams.
Our base for Open Expeditions is the Black Mountains, part of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Located on the Welsh Borders the area is easily accessible by bus and rail links and by car from the M4
For those who have not yet undertaken any training or want to gain more confidence before their qualifying expedition, we have put together a 6 day programme combining Pre-Expedition training and a practice expedition.

For those who have completed their training and practice expeditions we offer the opportunity to take part in an Qualifying expedition.

You will be trained, supervised and assessed by our experienced instructors.
We will send you a comprehensive pre-expedition pack to help you prepare, this includes kit lists etc.
We will provide essential group equipment
