Here are Rosie's answers to our expedition questions:

What is the most memorable expedition that you have been on?

Probably an expedition in the Indian Himalayas when I was 18; It was the first time I’d been at altitude and it gave me a real bug to get out and do and see more!

If you were doing your Gold Expedition this year where would you go?

North Western Scotland – it’s an area that I would love to get to know better. I went for the first time last year and the mountains were just incredible; rugged, awesome and so different from anywhere else I know in the UK.

What is the one luxury item that you always take with you on an expedition?

A metal water bottle – it makes a very good hot water bottle if filled with hot water and wrapped in a t-shirt. Good on cold nights!
