We asked Chris a few questions about expeditions and this is what he said:
What is the most memorable expedition that you have been on?
Walking across the Pyrenees with a group of friends. Some days we were in Spain, some days in France and some days the ridge was so narrow that we had a foot in each country!
If you were doing your Gold Expedition this year where would you go?
I think I'd go to the West Highlands of Scotland. There's so much here - lochs, mountains, coast and glens - and there's so much history and legend that helps make the place magical.
What is the one luxury item that you always take with you on an expedition?
Chilli powder - really makes a meal special after a hard day.
