In order to complete the Bronze Expedition section you first need to complete a programme of training followed by sufficient practice expeditions to hone your skills. Once you have completed all of your training you then need to plan and undertake a 2 day qualifying expedition.

The Ashdown Forest in Sussex is perfect for Bronze practice expeditions. It is the largest area of open access land in the South East.
The New Forest National Park is a fantastic location for Bronze qualifying expeditions. It covers over 200 square miles of forest, moorland and pasture. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty, where you are can spot wild animals such as deer and birds of prey. Ponies, donkeys, cattle, sheep and pigs also graze freely on the common land.
Both locations are easily accessible by car and public transport.
